Generic lights generally use 'hot' lamps to produce high lighting levels. Depending on the choice of fixture they can produce a hard edged 'spotlight' or a softer 'fresnel' beam. Their main disadvantages are the high amount of power they consume along with the amount of cabling and control required. If you don't have the power available or the budget for the power and don't need the high output then have a look at our range of LED fixtures.
