A popular destination for London's tourists and revered in the retail industry across the world, Harvey Nichols window displays are a visual exhibit of fashion and exuberance. Changing with the seasons, the stylish window displays and frontage of the flagship Knightsbridge store have been known to literally stop passers by in their stride. And at night is when things really get interesting as the full effect of the lighting scheme becomes apparent.
For nearly a decade, Milton Keynes based Vector Lighting have been responsible for the illumination of Harvey Nichols' enticing window displays across the UK and Ireland. Designed by Andy Slevin, the bespoke lighting schemes are created in close partnership with Nichols' in-house display team. This is not the first outing for Vector's LED fixtures in Harvey Nichols windows, but it is the first time that LED has been used for the exterior fascia of the building; a punchy colour wash was created with ten external, IP-Rated LED floods. Internal window displays use a combination of RGB LEDs, Par 16s, plus various flood and track lights.
